Arab Contractors Medical Center (ACMC) operates the inpatients Pharmacy and 3 outpatients' branches. Behind the scenes, about (240444) inpatients and outpatients prescriptions are processed annually by the Pharmacy Department's staff, which consists of 41 pharmacists and technicians. Each order is verified for appropriateness of medication and dosage. A hospital-wide system designed to distribute the right drugs to the right person at the right time. Each order is verified, which means each newly prescribed medication is verified against the patient's overall drug intake. If everything is in order, the medication is made available immediately. Formulary medications are stocked in a locked store section.
